Children's Liturgy

Sacred Heart Catholic offers a children's liturgy every Sunday during 9:30 am Mass! 

Children who are 5 years and older are called forward during Mass and sent with a blessing to parish center for a Gospel lesson.

The children will hear the same Scriptures that are proclaimed at Mass, but explained on a level that younger children can understand.  The children will return to their family in church as the Offertory and Liturgy of the Eucharist begins. 

Children who are under 5 years old are welcome to join with an adult. 

Holy Heroes Mass worksheets for kids are available every weekend at the North and South entrances and at the Hospitality center. Pick up a new worksheet every Sunday and follow along at Mass.

Adult helpers are needed at the Children's Liturgy! If your child attends, please consider helping with 'crowd control'. No need to sign up! Just go out with the children after the blessing. Thank you!
